The day following the death of Jesus, the sun rose. Many people went about their lives as if nothing had happened the day before. There was shopping in the marketplace. The Roman soldiers continued patrolling and providing crowd control, though none was really needed any more. Government went about its business of enforcing the law of the day. And there were those, the believers - the Way as they were often called - who were devastated. Jesus, Christ of the world, was crucified. Yet, life continued. One true reality stuck out. One thing that everyone was certain about. That no matter what the circumstances, the sun would always rise again, just as the Son of God did three days later. This is not a fable. This is history.
